Meet the Author

K.K. Salathe is an Indie Romantasy author based in Colorado, with a deep love of werewolf novels.

A lifelong fantasy reader, she dove back into writing after a decade-long hiatus, with The Countdown Series coming to life during downtime following a significant injury. Her stories aim to connect with individuals who are struggling with autonomy and mental health/neurodivergence, and people trying to discover who they are after traumatic events.

Her favorite tropes to write are fated mates, one-bed, and “I don’t like you”-to-lovers.

When she's not writing, she spends time with her dogs, enjoying the outdoors, painting, and tackling a never-ending list of WIPs & TBRs.

K.K. is also the social media engineer for Celerity Collective, an upcoming non-profit organization that stands up for and promotes queer, neurodiverse, and disabled voices in the literary community.
